Samples of the Maxidus supplements contained sildenafil and tadalafil, which could interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease. If the active drug ingredients interact with nitrates, it could cause blood pressure to drop to dangerous levels.
